About Hernley's
Hernley's Farm Equipment started out as a small business in 1986, founded by Duane Hernley. The company initially specialized in farm equipment and auto diesel repair services, catering to the needs of the local community in the rural areas of the region. Duane Hernley's extensive experience and expertise in the field of farm equipment and automotive repair quickly earned the company a reputation for excellence.
In 1998, Hernley's Farm Equipment moved to a new facility that was built to accommodate the growing needs of the business. With the new facility, the company was able to expand its range of services and offer customers a more comprehensive and efficient experience.
In the year 2000, Hernley's Farm Equipment added a Polaris dealership to its business, which helped the company diversify its offerings and attract new customers. This move proved to be highly successful, and the Polaris dealership quickly became one of the most popular and profitable parts of the business.
In 2003, Hernley's Farm Equipment made the decision to phase out its farm equipment services and focus more on power sports. This strategic shift allowed the company to capitalize on the growing demand for recreational vehicles and other outdoor equipment, and helped Hernley's establish itself as a leading provider of power sports equipment in the region.
Two years later, in 2005, Hernley's added a Victory Motorcycle dealership to its lineup, which further solidified the company's reputation as a top provider of power sports equipment. The addition of Victory motorcycles helped Hernley's appeal to a wider range of customers and broaden its reach.
In 2014, Hernley's made a significant move by becoming one of the first five Indian Motorcycle dealerships in the country. This move was highly strategic and helped Hernley's solidify its position as a leading provider of power sports equipment in the region.
In March 2022, Hernley's was purchased by Adam and Ryan Houseknecht, who plan to continue building on the company's rich history and reputation for excellence. With a commitment to customer satisfaction and a focus on providing high-quality products and services, the new owners are poised to lead Hernley's into a bright and prosperous future.
